History

1990 November 9, the Remet Engineering s. r. o. company was established in Prštice
1992 company was renamed to REMET, spol. s r. o.
1992 by October 1, 1992 within the large privatization process, the company purchased production and warehouse premises on Vídeňská street 11/127 in Brno – the present seat of the company
1993 mechanical processing of scrap iron by high-capacity Lindemann shears was launched
1994 RM SERVIS, a subsidiary and at present a Peugeot Authorized Dealer, was established
1995 majority share in the KOVOLIT Modřice company was purchased
1995 production of aluminium foundry alloys was launched
1999 production of aluminium foundry alloys was expanded by melting in salt bath
2000 beginning of a stabilization process in the REMET company and its subsidiaries to achieve a stronger market position of the whole group
2003 planning works for further technological development of iron and aluminium raw material processing were initiated in the stage of business and economy stabilization
2004 installation of new technology equipment for aluminium pyrometallurgical processing - tilting rotary furnace of the latest generation and converter for alloying and casting of aluminium ingots including the piezoelectric weight sensors. The installation of a high-capacity hydraulic equipment designed to process steel waste.
2006 dust-removing plant and dispatch hall were launched into operation
2007 The construction of new premises in České Budějovice was finished. New rotary furnace and casting belt were launched into operation.
